I spent most of 2007 living in central Massachusetts. I enjoyed exploring various conservation lands in the area during this time, especially Crow Hill in Leominster State Forest. My favorite spot to go--personally and recording-wise--was a vernal stream one crossed when walking the Mid-State Trail between Crow Hill and Redemption Rock.

These tracks total 77 minutes, and each one has been optimized for seamless looping, should you wish to put one of them on gapless repeat for relaxation, ambiance, or even as a sleep aid.

These recordings begin with various sounds of spring thaw runoff dripping off of and flowing away from Crow Hill and its cliffs. They continue and conclude with recordings at the vernal stream on the Mid-State Trail, which is at: 42° 30' 58.79" N 71° 51' 55.40" W according to a picture on Google maps posted by Wayne Brink:

Various birds make appearances on some of the recordings of the stream.
