    Cassette + Digital Album

This is the last tape left of Batiscauthen. Side A is the Batiscauthen Suite which is many noise vignettes strung together, and Side B is a single, slowly building and layering piece just under 30 minutes long. Same sound content as the digital release, through the analog sound prism we call cassettes.

The insert is printed on one side, not the other, and features original art by Epicene Sound Replica. The cassette is black with a silver dot to mark Side A, and its upper edge has "60" stamped on it. This is likely to mark that it's a C-60, since the catalog number for this release is 060.

Includes a copy of the home made CD-R version of "Feeding".

Includes unlimited streaming of Batiscauthen via the free Bandcamp app, plus high-quality download in MP3, FLAC and more.

Liminal 28:21

about

"Batiscauthen" is my second noise album, originally released on C-60 cassette by Epicene Sound Replica as ESR060.

The "Batiscauthen Suite" was found on side A of the cassette release, and was intended to be listened to all in a row. Gapless playback of the digital files can help emulate the experience of listening to the suite on the original cassette. The tracks are separated here for listening convenience, and to allow for the possibility of listening to the suite in shuffle mode.

"Liminal" made up side B of the cassette, and is a single, slowly building and layering piece just under 30 minutes long.

The Epicene head honcho had this to say: "Wendell told me he was in a drone mood, and was he ever. You can almost feel the air crystallizing in yr lungs the cold icy shimmer total control over balance is impossible, no footing on the ice you stumble and slide along, the glacial glare of the sun blinding yr vision, and all at once you misstep and you suddenly sink into the sea. Drowning as you descend to the bottom. Pro-printed covers, ltd to 20."

Release date accurate within two weeks.
