Pulse drones in the Classic Beats series are generally characterized by faster repetitions of amplitude cycles, what I've called pulses. Compare this with the Ebb drones, which have longer cycles of coming and going, the characteristics of which are sometimes more subtle. In this way, some drones can be both Pulse and Ebb. Enjoy five hours of pulse drones!

Each track title is a kind of pulse, or type of dried, edible legume. There are some interesting ones out there!

Track 8 was made to honor those Maroons who fled slavery and created their own society in the Great Dismal Swamp. For more information: www.smithsonianmag.com/history/deep-swamps-archaeologists-fugitive-slaves-kept-freedom-180960122/
